It is the policy of St. Philip’s Academy to base decisions on employment solely upon an individual's qualifications relating to the requirements of the position for which the individual is being considered; recruit, hire, and promote the best qualified persons for all jobs without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, age, handicap or disability.
The administrative team and faculty of St. Philip's Academy supports the mission of the school and the policies of the organization as set by the Board of Trustees. The Head of School, as the sole employee of the Board of Trustees, hires the administrative team and faculty and ensures they fully understand and promote the values, which the community accepts and believes. The school firmly believes in the servant/leader example, where administrators are problem solvers, peacemakers, and positive public relations instruments of the school. Faculty are expected to be passionate about their work and be able to role model a culture of diverse disciplines that embrace the highest virtues of the best independent schools. A set of practices, behaviors, and attitudes are outlined in a code of professional conduct that defines interaction between the individual administrators and the faculty, the trustees, parents, students, and friends of the school.
