Applicants to Grades K-4    

September-November

  • Attend one of our Open House events to tour the facility, get information, ask questions and obtain an application

December

  • Submit the application form with $35.00 fee and applicant photograph
  • Schedule the applicant’s Kindergarten Simulation/Day Visit and Testing ($75.00 Testing fee)
  • Schedule your Parent Interview

January

  • Give the Recommendation Form to your child’s current teacher. The form must be mailed by the teacher.
  • Submit Transcript Request forms to your child’s current school. Transcripts must be mailed by the school office.

February (Kindergarten Applicants Only)

  • All completed files will be included in the Admissions Committee review. Please understand that the sooner your child’s application is complete, the sooner it will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Early completion of the application may enable us to respond with and earlier admissions decision.
  • Submit signed Enrollment Contract with $250.00 deposit by the deadline stated in the acceptance letter. All parents are given a 2 week deadline. Please notify us if you are in need of an extension.

All students applying to grades 1-4 will not receive a decision letter until Late April.

Applicants to Grades 5-7    

September-November

December

  • Schedule the applicant’s Day Visit (visits begin in January)
  • Schedule your Parent Interview

January

  • Give the Recommendation Forms (3) to your child’s current teachers. The forms must be mailed by the teachers.
  • Submit Transcript Request forms to your child’s current school. Transcripts must be mailed by the school office.

February - April

  • Day visits, testing and parent interviews continue

April

  • Enrollment numbers for the upcoming year are revealed.
  • Completed files are reviewed by the Admissions Committee and candidates are selected as space permits.
  • Submit signed Enrollment Contract with $250.00 deposit by the deadline stated in the acceptance letter. All parents are given a 2 week deadline. Please notify us if you are in need of an extension.
Re-Applying to St. Philip’s    

If you have applied to St. Philip’s Academy in the past and would like to Re-Apply, please contact us in December so that we can pull your child’s file from our Archives. You will then be contacted to schedule your child’s Day Visit.
