Thinkfinity
New Games + Skill Support = Kids that Ask to Learn!ak Activities
Katrina Allen

Thinkfinity’s content partners have all begun updating their sites, which results in lots of fun, new activities that our kids will want to play. Here are a few of my recent favorites:

For Kindergarten to 2nd Grade – Thinkfinity has recently partnered with the Electric Company! The Electric Company is an Emmy-award winning show devoted to building literacy skills through music, games and connections to pop-culture. They now have a great website with videos, activities an interactive games. There are many options that are perfect for your child to practice their literacy skills at home.

For 3rd to 5th Grade – Practicing rhythm and beats is a great way to build their music skills as well as provide children another context in which to understand fractions. Quackin’ Rhymes is a carnival style game that will help students count a beat and build their understanding of common fractional parts.

For 6thto 8th Grade – Flip a Chip is an interactive game similar to MadLibs that builds understanding of suffixes and prefixes, great for writing support as well as SSAT prep!
